Here is another July 4 photo. This parade went through a small town main street. Participants included local bands, clubs, veterans, and politicians. The street was lined with people of the town, who had set up chairs on the street curbs. An amateur band played across the street. What made the parade such a pleasure to me was the informality of the participants, and the good cheer of the townies sitting at the curb. Who needs the Rose Bowl Parade, when people are having such fun at this informal, strictly local, event.
